Hi, I'm Erin!

I believe all of life is a journey, and while you can make it on your own, having help along the way can brighten the path, and lighten your load.

Through Yoga, Personal Training, Reiki, and Coaching my compassionate yet straight-forward approach is focused on helping you reconnect with your inner clarity and confidence. I believe it’s never too late to take that first step forward and with support and inspiration the journey to freedom and happiness can be a bit brighter.

Desiring BalanceFeatured

You can’t do it all. I can’t either. Even though I often forget this fact. There are only so many hours in the day. There is only so much energy to give… before you’re depleted, before you’re running on empty, before you’re stopped with no energy to get going again. It’s a notion I’ve grown intimately familiar with, especially over the last month or so.   See, I started a new job about one month ago. I am so happy to say that I am now a full-time Personal Trainer and Yoga Director at Fitness Unlimited. Thankfully I went into it realizing that with such a big leap I was going to need to devote more energy to this than anything else. I…

Reiki Master Training Part 1: Letter of IntentionFeatured

I am so happy to announce that after many years of dreaming about this, I am taking a HUGE step and training for my third and fourth level (Shinpiden) of Reiki to become a Reiki Master. After these trainings I will be able to teach other the beauty and power of Reiki and share it with others in a greater capacity. I am going to be learning from the beautiful and inspiring Elise Brenner and look forward to sharing my insights with you.   My first experience with Reiki was surprisingly intense and awakening. I was at the Be Healthy Boston conference many years ago and in a large conference hall filled with many vendors and people, and I remember…

Love Letter to 2016Featured

Wow 2016 – I am so glad you’re here. Seriously this is one of the first times I could NOT wait for the new year to begin. And for good reason… 2016 is the year that I am stepping up to the plate! Dreaming bigger. Traveling farther. Breathing deeper. Living better. Letting go often. Embracing clarity. Savoring connection. Grounding down. Saying YES. Saying NO.Radiating. Expanding. Trusting. Shining. LIVING. And it’s already off to a great start ::: my vision board is practically finished (one for…

Quieting My Monkey Mind on My Mat

Coming to my mat today my brain was racing. I couldn’t stop the thoughts worries concerns fears… During the first pose of class – laying on our backs – the teacher encouraged the class to breathe and focus on the present moment, but I couldn’t. Instead I struggled. Thoughts and questions kept popping up. Ideas sprang forward. Worries circled in my peripheral vision. Fears crouched in the shadows. Concerns blanked everything like a layer of snow. I fought against my thoughts and worries and tried slaying them one after another. This isn’t a new technique – it’s one that I fall back on in moments where my mind is spiraling. It never works though. Thankfully I knew deep down that fighting…

HelloFresh!

I used to love to cook, but over the last couple of years the more focused I have become on my career and passion projects, the less interest and time I have to focus on creating fun, delicious and healthy meals. However, I miss it – I miss creating interesting meals that nourish my body and my soul. I miss playing with different ingredients and putting a new twist on the foods I eat often. I miss the creativity and get-your-hands-dirty side of cooking, because honestly I have been making the same things over and over again – and they’re not exciting or fun. Overall I miss fun cooking but I don’t want to spend a ton of time or…
