Never, Ever Give Up

Posted on: 21 May 2012

I love inspirational stories like this. Stories that remind us that we are so much more capable than we ever imagine. Stories that give us the encouragement to try harder, go farther and dream bigger.

Stories like this remind us that every single person has the power within themselves to make huge positive changes in their lives. You don’t need to have a ton of money or time on your hands; all you need is a little will power and a lot of dedication and anything is possible.

Dani, over at Life Unconstrained, had it right when she said:

They say that practice makes perfect.

Screw perfect.

Practice transforms.

Practice revolutionizes.

Practice makes things happen.

Over and over again.

Good and bad.

Stop perfecting. Start practicing.

Take one step toward transformation, one step toward revolution.

One step toward making something happen
(or stopping something already in motion).

All it takes is one step. What’s stopping you?

So stop saying “you can’t” and figure out exactly what “you can” and start there. Every time you make one little step forward you’re reminding yourself that you are capable of change and that can create a avalanche of power and positivity.

Looking to tone up and build endurance? Start by taking daily walks around your neighborhood. Want to change careers? Find a mentor and come up with an action plan to get you where you want to be. Want to change your whole life? Just do it. Stop letting your fears, worries, concerns, hesitations and everyone else’s opinions hold you back. Take control of your thoughts and your actions and believe in the amazing power you hold within yourself. I believe in you.

What’s the 1 step you can take today to make a difference in your life?
