Nourish Your Body

Today’s message is simple :: it’s important to nourish your body. It’s important to treat it like the magical, wonderful gift it is and appreciate all of the amazing things you can do – run, jump, leap, dance, twirl, sing, breathe, live!

Nourishing your body means…

Fueling your body with whole, natural foods straight from the Earth

Moving everyday, whether that’s walking, stretching, swimming, dancing… whatever moves your soul and body

Treating yourself with compassion rather than frustration

Choosing to take the stairs whenever you can

Eating until your body is satisfied, not until you’re emotions or mind is done

Giving yourself a break from work and all the noise that surrounds us

Focusing on how you feel rather than the numbers on the scale

Calming your mind through deep breathing

Connecting with your inner strength

Letting your spirit fly wild and free

Nourishing your body isn’t necessarily difficult because one you start to feel better you’ll want to keep up all the good habits that give you energy and make you strong.
