I’m a big believer in wearing fun, bright panties. Yup, I said panties. They make me feel good and set me up for a great day. Seriously.
So when I heard that the incredible, self-care wonder woman Jenn Gibson from Roots of She partnered up with creative rock-star, Amanda Oaks from Kind Over Matter, to create Positive Panties I knew I had to help fund their underwear company.
Positive Panties are meant to “motivate women not only to seize the day, but to be bold and ballsy with it.” Fabulous, right?! The idea came toJenn when she was walking down the street in Washington, DC and noticed that everyone was looking “angry and upset.” She thought to herself, “Someone clearly didn’t put on their positive panties this morning.” And viola, Positive Panties were born.
The brilliant duo designed the skivvies with upbeat and motivating sayings that are screen-printed on American Apparel low rise panties, giving you secret super-human powers.
Don’t you think it’d be great to pull on a pair of panties that say, “You are going to rock this day so hard” or “You are a mega fuck ton of awesome”? I know that they’d give me that burst of inspiration I needed before a big presentation or even on a plain old Tuesday.
Not only are they meant to inspire but they’re also meant to make you giggle a little. Jenn and Amanda hope to encourage you to be a real bad ass while not taking life too seriously. As Amanda says, “Laughter and empowerment is one of the most potent energy cocktails you can knock back.”
I love the idea of having a “cheerleader in my pants… rooting me on, motivating me, reminding that I can do any and everything” and can’t wait to get my hands on a pair of Positive Panties (hopefully they’ll offer them in thongs someday in the future)!
Their Kickstarter Campaign runs through the end of October and I highly encourage you to check them out and help fund their project because couldn’t we all use a pair of Positive Panties?
