I’m here because I love to connect with people. To be a shoulder to lean on for comfort, a sounding board for advice, a bright smile to lift someone’s spirits, a grounding energy providing balance and nourishment.
I love to inspire people to open their hearts and minds, to think differently, to move gracefully, to embrace change and to live freely.
Growing up for many years I wanted to become a Nun – I was fascinated by their simple yet profound way of life.
Needless to say, my life’s journey never made its way to a convent; however, I still have that strong sense of compassion and optimism illuminating my soul; and over the years I’ve found ways to instill these characteristics into my career…
I guide others to let go of the burdens holding them back and to embrace life with clarity and confidence through one-on-one coaching and workshops.
I provide support and comfort through energy-balancing Reiki sessions focused on alleviating pain, anxiety and distress.
I motivate others through breath and movement in spinning and yoga classes.
I write to offer new ideas, new ways of life, and new experiences to the world.
I am changing the world by offering my talents and passions with an open heart.
My journey so far has led me through pastry shops where I poured my heart into cheesecakes and scones … to training in Communication Studies at Bryant University where I focused on interpersonal relationships and personal development … to Human Resources at a huge corporation where I helped people balance work and life while being successful in their careers … to here and now, where I am fully aligned with my values, beliefs and dreams as a Creative Wellness Professional.
I earned my 200 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification with the amazing owners of South Boston Yoga, David Vendetti and Todd Skoglund. I also received my Level I & II Reiki certification with Elise Brenner and my Spinning Certification through Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc.
I have spent the last several years going through radical changes myself and realizing the potential of the human spirit firsthand.
For many many years my heart, my soul, my entire being was heavy as I was holding onto so much baggage that I felt hopeless, powerless and exhausted all the time.
It wasn’t until I acknowledged the weights holding me down, the past situations and old emotions clouding my vision, that I began to let go of each one. Feeling lighter, stronger, every day.
Soon I was taking chances, signing up for classes I had always been too afraid of (ahem, sports conditioning), reconnecting with my breath and inner strength on my yoga mat, finding clarity in my goals and relationships, reclaiming my lost dreams and passions.
The world was brighter because I had become free of all the limitations, fears, doubts, expectations, and situations holding me down.
I was free to dream.
Free to move forward.
Free to let my true self shine.
Free to live the life I had always wanted.
My journey in life has taught me that it is never ever to late to change, and that with support and guidance the path can be even brighter.
